: SRSL is based at the Scottish Marine Institute in Oban, which has a range of facilities and equipment available for commercial hire. These include a dive centre, analytical services, research vessels, aquarium, conference rooms and laboratory/office space in our business incubator:

: European Marine Test Facility

A test centre for trialing marine systems and technologies.

: National Facility for Scientific Diving

A scientific dive centre providing divers, equipment, training and dive surveys.

: European Centre for Marine Biotechnology

A business incubator for new and emerging marine biotechnology companies.

: Conference and Field Station Facilities

SAMS has one large conference room and six meeting rooms available for hire, complete with VC and IT capabilities.

: Culture Collection for Algae and Protozoa

The world’s most diverse culture collection of 3000 strains of marine and freshwater algae and protists.

: Aquarium

A newly refurbish research aquarium with photoperiod and constant temperature rooms for hire, supplied with fresh sea water and technical support.

: Vessel and Equipment Hire

Research Vessels for charter and marine sampling and analytical equipment for hire.

: European Marine Science Park

A new Science Park is to be constructed near the Scottish Marine Institute later this year.
